The vision of the USF SiC Group is to engage in full-spectrum SiC research in the university environment. Research is conducted at all levels, from initial materials development and processing, to device simulation and design, to device fabrication, packaging and test.
The primary thrust of the SiC group is the use of novel materials to meet niche applications in electrical and chemical engineering.
	Students are fully engaged in the group's research activites where they work closely with faculty and staff to ensure that the educational experience is tailored to meet current technology needs in industry.
